Sometimes what you need is not a full case but an hour with someone who knows how school teams work. Consultation is the most common way families start with Access & Bloom.
You describe what is happening, we look at the documents and data that matter, and you leave with priorities and language you can use right away.
How a consultation works
- A free 15-minute call first, to see whether support is a good fit
- A 60-minute Initial Advocacy Consultation for in-depth discussion
- Review of your primary concerns and relevant documents
- Guidance on possible next steps and written requests
- Time for your questions, in plain language
Coaching between meetings
Many parents want to handle their own meetings but check their thinking first. Coaching sessions cover how to word a request, how to respond to an email from the district, and how to keep a conversation focused when it drifts.
You decide what comes next
There is no requirement to purchase a package. Some families come once a year before the annual IEP meeting; others move into ongoing advocacy support. Scope and cost are always discussed before work begins.

What should I bring to a consultation?
Your child's current IEP or 504 plan, the most recent evaluation and progress reports, and any recent emails with the school.
Is the free call the same as a consultation?
No. The free 15-minute call determines fit and direction. In-depth review and strategy begin with the paid 60-minute consultation.
Are meetings virtual?
Yes — all services are virtual and available to families nationwide, by video or phone.
