School meetings move quickly. There are often six people at the table, a draft document you have not read, and forty-five minutes on the clock. Preparation is what makes the difference.
Access & Bloom offers both meeting preparation and virtual meeting attendance as an IEP meeting advocate, so you are not sorting it out alone in the moment.
Before the meeting

During the meeting
Chelsea attends virtually, tracks the agenda, and helps you raise your concerns at the right moment. When something is unclear, we ask for clarification. When an agreement is reached, we make sure it is reflected in the document rather than only in conversation.
After the meeting
You get help reviewing what was decided, sending a follow-up summary, and identifying anything that still needs a written request. Momentum after the meeting matters as much as the meeting itself.

Can you attend any type of school meeting?
Yes — IEP, 504, evaluation and eligibility, manifestation determination, and placement meetings, all virtually.
Do I need to tell the school an advocate is attending?
Yes, and we go over how and when to notify the team so the meeting starts smoothly.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you have a meeting date. Two weeks gives time for document review and preparation.
